Currently Craving: Fall Beauty Products & Trends We Love

That crisp cool air isn’t only perfect for pumpkin patches, lots-of-layers, and fireside snacks – it’s also a great time to embrace deep, gorgeous hues in your hair, makeup, and nail routines! Check out some of the fall beauty products and trends we’re currently craving!

Makeup

Aveda’s Limited Edition Autumn 2013 Collection: Heart Lands

This limited edition collection was “inspired by simpler times,” explained Janell Geason, Aveda Global Artistic Director, Makeup. “Heart Lands features nomadic-inspired eyes and just-in-from-the-cold, naturally flushed cheeks.” The Heart Lands collection includes two Nourish-mint™ Smoothing Lip Colors, two Nourish-Mint Rehydrating Lip Glazes, two Petal Essence Eye Definers, six Petal Essence Single Eye Colors, and, my personal favorite, the two Nourish-Mint Lip Liners. The liners provide a creamy finish and are made with plant waxes and fruit butters to provide serious nourishment to lips (hence the clever name!). The “Mint” comes into play with a lovely certified organic peppermint flavor – but the color is so gorgeous you will not want to lick it away! I am currently craving the Plum Petals color ($16) which I like to use all over my lip as opposed to just as a liner. It lets be give into my inner Wednesday Addams by giving my lips a deep, rich plum hue perfect for cooler weather and my paler skin (though this shade is really universally gorgeous on all skin tones!)

Mirabella Beauty Red Velvet Lip Pencil

Velvet doesn’t even begin to describe the texture of these new lip pencils by Mirabella – available in six colors (featuring shade of pink, coral, and red) they stay on all day long and feel unbelievably luxurious. Thanks to the raspberry extract BerryFlux Vita – the pencils not only provide amazing color but great hydration as well, helping lips stay supple in this colder weather. I was thrilled when I tried out the Red Velvet ($23) shade and found it was the perfect high-pigment, matte red  that dreams are made of.

SpaRitual’s 2013 Fall Collection: Share

My ultimate favorite this season for nails comes courtesy of SpaRitual’s (no shock there!) Share Collection – featuring great colors reminiscent of all things autumn the real stand out is From the Heart (the fourth shade pictured above) – an creamy oxblood that got me so many compliments that I don’t think I’ve tried another color yet this season! Also in the collection ($12 each) Conversation, Reminisce, Midnight Stroll, Uncomplicated, and Comfort.

e-CURE Treatment

Now that summer’s officially over it’s a great time to give your locks a little extra TLC and for that look no further than the e-CURE Treatment.This chemical-free conditioning treatment comes from Japan and can be done in the salon or at home using their retail products (shown above). The three products work together to restore moisture levels in your strands and give life to limp, dull locks using antioxidant minerals from the deep sea and plants! Even after one use I noticed the texture of my hair was noticeably smoother!
