Liquid Face Lifts and Micro-Treatments for the Holidays.
This holiday will be a little different than a year ago so what are the dos and don’ts when it comes to beauty treatments?
Botox and Fillers
The queens of the Medical Spa community, these two treatments are designed to plump up your face and wipe away unsightly wrinkles. Known as lunchtime lifts, both are easy to administer and require little, if any, downtime.
Microblading and Lip Blushing
Both are the babies of the Medical Spa world and in some cases, offered at salons as well. Microblading will fill in the gaps where some might have over tweezed in the past. If you want fuller lashes, micro-blading can accomplish that. With full strokes, the makeup artist can give you the look you desire. The same goes for lip blushing. Both are semi-permanent solutions to face makeup. Lip blushing tones have expanded in recent years so now there are a lot more tones to choose from. The right stylist will know which goes best with your skin prior to permanent application. Once applied, lip blushing lasts 2-5 years. Do not fear on your first application. The color does lighten in just a few days but is especially strong on the first three.
Hair and Lash Extensions
Easy and fun, both of these services take one to two hours and the results last from 1-3 months. Hair extensions need to be adjusted depending on your hair growth while lash extensions generally require a follow up 3-4 weeks later. Both are great options for providing volume in the desired areas. Like everything, you can decide if you want to go modest or all out on this service.
Acrylics and Gels
Holiday manicures and pedicures are a fun way to get playful during the season. A new trend is pointed nails, pair it with holiday glam and you’ll have nails to die for. Acrylics take about an hour to apply and then last a few weeks before a refill. Gel coats your nails to strengthen them and leaves a gorgeous sealant to last throughout the holiday.
