Giving Back While You Get Away: Mind Body Spirit Network & Travelteerism

What if you could give back to the world, while you see it? That’s exactly what Sallie Fraenkel, President of Mind Body Spirit Network, and Casey Miller, President of Travelteerism, are aiming to help travelers do through their new partnership! The inaugural trips will take place in 2016 in Central America.

Small groups, of no more than 12, will explore and experience the unique scenery, nature, and time-honored healing traditions of Central America during the two upcoming trips: “A Mayan Touch” to Guatemala (January 15-20) and “Barefoot Luxury” to Nicaragua (March 31-April 5). The curated experiences will include healing spa treatments and rituals, breathtaking hikes, and an introduction to local cuisine, as well as opportunities to give back to the communities with volunteering excursions. On the upcoming Guatamala trip, guests will be able to help build sustainable school buildings using recyclable materials with Long Way Home.

Fees for “A Mayan Touch,” exclusive of airfares, are $2,945 for double occupancy and $3,395 for single occupancy. “Barefoot Luxury” is offered at $2,995 for double occupancy and $3,445 for single occupancy. Learn more
