From the Sparchives: The Start of Susie’s Spa Career

We got such a kick out of this past Sparchives post featuring Spafinder’s very own Susie Ellis, we asked her to share another trip down memory lane. Enjoy this throwback of Susie (the gorgeous blonde in the front!) at Golden Door, when her successful spa career had just started.

Susie tells us: “This photo appeared in a Family Circle magazine around 1974. I was just out of college and joined the staff at the Golden Door in Escondido, California. I certainly didn’t know then (gulp, 40 years ago) that my entire career would be in the spa industry. When I look back now I think—lucky me.”
