We Care: Spafinder Wellness 365™ & Wellness for Cancer

Cancer doesn’t wait for October; it affects millions of lives all year round. At Spafinder Wellness 365™ we believe that both Cancer Awareness and keeping well are a 365-day affair and that is why this October we are launching our year-long initiative with Wellness for Cancer. We’ve moved past Cancer Awareness months and toward being Cancer Aware, all year long.

Along with Wellness for Cancer, we plan to help spas and wellness locations all over the world increase their level of comfort and confidence in delivering safe and nurturing services to clients who have or are recovering from cancer, through a special training program.

What this means for you

Starting later this month, properties listed on spafinder.com will feature Cancer Aware badges and icons to showcase their level of experience, making it easier for you to find services for yourself or for someone you love who is dealing with cancer or who is in remission. Locations can have basic credentials and comprehensive credentials, meaning they have mastered a complete level of training.

  

In addition to this new partnership, we have launched our new “I Care” eGift Cards, to allow you to take care of yourself or someone you know that needs to focus on healing the mind, body, and soul. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of this eGift Card will go to furthering cancer education in the wellness industry.
