New Openings
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Rancho Mirage – Features of this 25,000-square-foot desert sanctuary spa in the Palm Springs area includes: 15 treatment rooms with private outdoor showers and terraces; an alfresco co-ed whirlpool and relaxation lounge; treatments using native elements; and the OMNIA – Move, Train, Play fitness experience.
Cedarbrook Lodge – Scheduled for completion in September, this Seattle-based Spa at Cedarbrook Lodge will emphasize a “field-to-forest” experience by incorporating botanical treatments that use Northwest elements and herbal remedies (cedar, spruce, and dogwood trees).
Zenserenity Wellness Resort – The all-suite resort, located in Tulum, 90 minutes from Cancun International Airport, offers a spa with an extensive menu that includes Germaine de Capuccini facials, men’s treatments, and kids’ services like the Sand Castles Facial.
Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort – What will you find at this new resort spa? Interiors inspired by the Florida Everglades, bungalow treatment rooms, an aroma design bar, spa sommeliers, and more, led by spa director Derek Hofmann. Read the press release.
Vomo Island Resort – The newly opened Senikai Spa in Fiji has a whimsical design (think volcanic rocks, verdant botanical gardens, reflection pools, and vernacular Fijian architecture) and treatments befitting of the South Pacific culture.
New Treatments
La Spa at Il Salviatino (Florence, Italy) – La Spa makes spa-going a family affair, with the debut of treatments for children, tweens, and teens that includes the 30-minute hypoallergenic Fresh Face Baby Powder Facial ($110) and purifying Teenage Facial ($165).
The Spa at Trump SoHo® New York – The spa’s partnership with the award-winning Natura Bissé brand involves utilizing the product line in all facials, as well as launching two new treatments: NYC SoHo Alternative to Injectables Facial ($395 weekday/$410 weekend) and Hawaiian Whitening & Brightening Facial ($365 weekday/$380 weekend).

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village – Health-conscious guests can now indulge in nutritious, plant-based dishes off of the resort’s new Sustained Living menus, available in select hotel food and beverage venues.
The Mandarin Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong – The unveiling of new treatment rooms brings the total to nine and includes two VIP Suites, a Thai massage room with a custom-made bed, and a couple’s room dubbed “Patchouli,” with a steam shower and relaxation space. Read the press release.
The Spa at Pelican Hill®– A new Spa Suite at this Forbes Five-Star Spa in Newport Beach celebrates couples or small groups; book by the hour or a full day to use pre- or post-treatment. Thoughtful details include citrus-cucumber-infused spa water, nutritious snacks, and an exclusive Spa Suite menu.
Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain – A major Spa Anjali makeover includes a new reception area and relaxation lounge; expanded salon and spa boutique spaces; and Howard Head Sports Medicine Clinic facilities. New yoga, Pilates, movement, and cycling studios were also added.
