Have Your Cake & Eat it Too: Holiday Detox Smoothie Recipe
Enjoy the holidays and all they have to offer, but keep on track with this healthy holiday detox smoothie!

The coconut water is hydrating and will help replace electrolytes lost during a holiday booze fest. Brazil nuts contain tons of magnesium, which help alkalize the body and can even help relieve constipation. Pineapple contains bromelain, which is an enzyme that will help digest any leftover turkey. I always use Vega One Nutritional Shake because it is plant based protein which is clean burning fuel and it contains probiotics to help your gut battle bad bacteria caused by too much pie (sugar). The 20 grams of protein will stabilize your blood sugar until your next meal…. leftovers!
What you’ll need:
½ cup coconut water
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop French Vanilla Vega One Nutritional Shake
3 Brazil nuts
1 cup kale
½ small banana
1 cup frozen pineapple
4-5 ice cubes
Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. Add water for desired consistency.
