Getting in with THE OUT, NYC’s Newest Men’s Spa
Massage-loving Manhattan men rejoice! New York City’s newest men’s spa, The Spa at THE OUT NYC opened its doors today, November 12, 2012. THE OUT is New York’s first straight-friendly urban resort for gay men, both tourists and locals alike. This relaxation retreat in NYC’s hip Hell’s Kitchen area offers a wide selection of seasonal and signature treatments, as well as an authentic Turkish hammam and an array of men’s grooming services, including sugaring hair removal.
Led by spa and wellness veteran and professional makeup artist, Chris Drummond, whose 17-year experience includes spa management of the Shore Club and Ritz-Carlton in Miami, his own spa on Fire Island and most notably, his own cosmetics company.
“We are excited to welcome guests and visitors to unwind and refresh with a tailored collection of treatments and services at The Spa at THE OUT NYC,” says Drummond. “The Spa is dedicated to providing guests with an escape from the frenetic pace of New York City, offering a chance to rejuvenate, restore and recharge.”
The Spa at THE OUT NYC features a 5,000-square-foot wellness center with a spacious glass-covered atrium where guests can enjoy lounge areas, secluded cabanas, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, the wellness deck, the private gym and of course, luxuriously appointed treatment rooms. In addition to an expansive spa menu, guests can enjoy personal training, private yoga, spray tanning and more.
The hotel itself featured 105 rooms, the 14,000-square-foot XL Nightclub, Cabaret & Lounge and KTCHN Restaurant. The Spa at THE OUT NYC is open to the public, and hotel guests enjoy 15 percent off services.
