Spa Skin-Care Brands We Love
By Jackie Burns | January 17, 2013One of my favorite parts of going to the spa is trying out treatments that incorporate effective, results-driven, and, more often than not, organic or all-natural products. I can’t count the number of products I’ve become hooked on after a great facial or a particularly exfoliating body scrub. If there’s one thing these 10 spa products have in common, it’s that they’ll all leave you coming back for more!

Bliss Spa Products
With 22 locations worldwide and products sold in major retailers like Nordstrom and Sephora, Bliss Spa has taken the world by storm since its start in 1996! The incredibly effective products come complete with quirky names and an iconic blue packaging that could easily give Tiffany’s a run for its money. The product line runs the gamut with creams, scrubs, masks, cleansers, its famous Bliss waxing kits, and even tools for toning and grooming hair.

Clarins Spa Products
The definitive name in plant-based beauty, Clarins has been a spa power player for more than 50 years, and has developed a distinctive spa experience based on a fusion of science, touch, and nature. The more highly concentrated in-spa products offer fast results after each treatment—from facials to body wraps—while the more daily-use-friendly, at-home collection (which is sold at numerous major retailers worldwide) gets high marks for its long-lasting outcome.

ESPA Spa Products
ESPA spas and products are among our favorites here at SpaFinder® Wellness. This luxury brand, which is present in more than 350 spas in 55 countries, distils its active ingredients from only the purist extracts—ensuring natural and immediate results. Products are born from in-spa experiences and needs and translated into a collection that allows the opportunity to bring the spa home with you.

B|Africa Products
Used exclusively in The Red Carnation Hotel Collection’s South African locations, the B|Africa line of body-care and skin-care products blends together native African plant extracts and ingredients, including oil from the baobab tree, marula oil, avocado butter, honey, rooibos, Mongongo nut, Ximenia kernel oil, and West Coast Atlantic sea salts. In addition to use in all spa treatments, B|Africa products are used as in-room amenities at Red Carnation Hotels, which allow guests to experience the restorative spa products in the privacy of their rooms.

-
Anantara Spa Product Line
Meaning “without end” in Sanskrit, Anantara Spas evoke freedom, movement, and harmony. The brand, which has its roots in Thailand, uses the 100-percent-natural Anantara Spa Product Line to enhance treatments. Ingredients are all carefully chosen, blended, and sourced throughout Asia and feature floral notes, fruit blends, botanical extracts, essential oils, spices, and nuts.
Eminence Organics Products
Perhaps my personal favorite on the list, Éminence Organics has been creating organic, cruelty-free, and natural skin-care products since 1958. The brand comes from Hungary, a country which has some of the best soil around, ideal for cultivating potent and effective ingredients. The products smell unbelievable (you’ll know they are being used without your esthetician telling you ahead of time), and the cosmetics are a real treat after a facial when you want to make sure you are still using skin-healthy beauty products but don’t want to be bare-faced.

Used in more than 1,200 spas and salons around the world, including the day spa flagships in London, Miami, and Hong Kong, Elemis has been one of the leading luxury UK spa and skin-care brands since 1989. Known for its anti-aging products, Elemis products contain medical-grade ingredients, and each formulation is based on a standard that it must have a positive natural impact on the skin, either to nourish, protect, or help other ingredients further penetrate.

Nickel Men’s Spa Products
“By men, for men.” This philosophy has led Nickel Spa to become one of the leading names in men’s spa and skin-care products since its Parisian start in 1996. Using a male-friendly “in-your-face” mentality, product names include the “Morning After Rescue Gel,” which is famous for its hangover-hiding abilities. Products are tailored to moments in a man’s life: sports, traveling, party time, and relaxing. High-performance ingredients like tensor agents, fruit acids, vitamin baskets, and diet minerals are used because Nickel knows that a man has much thicker skin than a woman.

Mandara Spa Products
One of my favorite spa brands, Mandara Spas are rooted in the healing traditions of Bali. With more than 70 Mandara Spas around the world practicing traditional Balinese healing rituals, the brand needed a product spa line to complement its treatment menu—and the Mandara Spa range of products more than fits that bill. The collection of bath and body care use natural ingredients and exotic blends of honey, almond, frangipani, sandalwood, ginseng, and lime, which all work to heighten your senses during your treatments in spa and at home.
NATURA BISSÉ Spa Products
NATURA BISSÉ had its start in spa in 1979 when it began creating products for face and body that contained the maximum concentrations of ingredients. Its products are sold in luxury brand department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Barney’s New York; over the years, it has established itself as a celebrity go-to brand and has made its way into many spas around the world. From its anti-aging DIAMOND COLLECTION to the intensive recovery solution of the NB•CEUTICAL COLLECTION, NATURA BISSÉ continues to make highly effective products for consumers and spas alike.
