Swimwear That Makes You Say Spa

As the former editor of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, I’m continually fascinated by swimsuit design and in search of suits that feel comfortable yet sexy. Enter, BIKYNI designed by a team of women who believe buying a swimsuit should feel like the beginning of an escape. They’ve reimagined swimwear, made with Italian fabric, sewn in LA and an incredible value; the suits are simple silhouettes inspired by the classics, updated with modern touches (personally I love the seamless, no hardware, elegance of it all). This season’s color shades reflect elements that evoke spa, travel, and adventure—desert (olive green), cloud (grey), jet (black), hula (gold), and cosmos (navy).

Their inspiration for this season’s collection is my favorite time of day—the golden hour. As they say,  “It marks the end of a long day well spent—whether at the beach, a city rooftop, or a lakeside estate.
