Serena Williams Polishes Up on her (Mani-Pedi) Strokes

Cities like New York and L.A. are apparently not the only places for celeb-spotting these days–next on the paparazzi-stalking list is your local spa. Serena Williams, the tennis star and sister to tennis player Venus Williams, has enrolled in a Palm Beach, Florida, program to become a certified nail technician, according to the New York Daily News.
“No one likes getting their nails done more than I do,” Williams wrote on her blog. “As a matter of fact I go every 4 days to get a manicure and every 7 days for a pedicure. So, I had a brilliant idea to get certified to be a nail tech.”
The reason behind this switch for the tennis star is her new nail product line that is being launched through the company HairTech.
She also blogged about her school uniform: “Not only do I plan on being the top student to graduate from my nail school, but I also intend on being the most fashionable! We have to wear blue scrubs. So I asked the administrator can I wear pink but she insisted on blue. I found the cutest blue scrub top (Grey’s Anatomy should take note) and super cute cargo pants!”
On her first day, Williams performed a French pedicure and wrote on her blog that she might pick up a part-time job at a local nail salon.
