Spa Spotlight – eforea: spa at Hilton

As a born and bred Jersey girl, I can tell you with full authority that the best mall in the state is in Short Hills. What I didn’t know was the paradise awaiting me just across the street! In October, 2010, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, one of the largest providers of spa services with more than 190 spas in operation worldwide, launched eforea: spa at Hilton, their global spa concept, with a star-studded celebration at its new home at Hilton Short Hills.  As one of the world’s fastest growing spa brands, eforea followed up its launch with new locations worldwide:  Millennium Hilton Bangkok in Thailand, Hilton On The Park Melbourne in Australia, Hilton Pattaya in Thailand, Hilton Queenstown in New Zealand and recently the first European location at Hilton Baku in Azerbaijian. The Escape Journey brings together the organic ingredients of LI’TYA products with holistic healing practices in order to create experiences such as the Hilton Head-to-Toe Revitalization. The Men’s Journey was created in order to make “men a priority, rather than an afterthought.” Using VitaMan products, these goal-driven treatments, including the Signature Body Repair with a heated bamboo massage, are the focus of this journey.

The flagship Short Hills location features eforea’s signature modern design. Upon entry, a bright reception and retail area greets guest and one can enjoy elaborate product displays, (as a beauty junkie my eyes wander there first).  Kerstin Florian, LI’TYA and VitaMan are the eforea partners and found at all of its locations, however other beauty favorites such as Morrocanoil salon products, Feeling Smitten Cupcake Bath Balms are available as well.

The two-floor facility features a lap swimming pool, comfortable changing lounges, thermal elements, an extensive fitness center including a movement studio where fitness classes are held, as well as a full-service hair and nail salon, a tranquil and cozy relaxation room, and 13 treatment rooms. The spa is open to hosting special occasions, celebrations and getaways which can be set up with the Spa Concierge.
