Massage Envy Raises Breast Cancer Awareness with Massage for the Cure

Help and join the fight against breast cancer…with a massage!

This Tuesday, September 14, Massage Envy is hosting its one-day national fundraiser, Massage for the Cure, to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® initiative. Visit a Massage Envy location for a 60-minute massage ($49) and $15 from each session will go to local affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

Due to the overwhelming support, over 100 additional locations were added to the fundraiser this year, for a total of over 620 locations in 42 states. The goal is to raise $500,000 in a single day for breast cancer treatment, awareness, and research.

In America, one in eight women are ultimately diagnosed with breast cancer. This can be scary to think about, but not impossible to overcome. For the last six years, Massage Envy has held this national fundraiser and with the help of its dedicated therapists and caring clients, it has raised over $1.4 million for breast cancer research.

Help turn breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors by finding your local Massage Envy here and make an appointment for a $49, 60-minute massage on September 14. Because Massage Envy works directly with local Komen affiliates, every $15 per massage raised during the one-day event will be used for education, screening and treatment programs in your local community.
