An Expanded Menu at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa
To answer the growing desire from guests for more locally-inspired experiences, Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa has expanded its spa and wellness offerings to include more local services and treatments at its eforea spa. Treatments will use native ingredients such as honey, yucca root, sage, and red mud and indigenous techniques that are a true reflection of the region. A great example is the new Manteadas Massage, a 90-minute massage featuring Curanderismo, a traditional Hispanic healing method that uses gentle stretching and unwinding, combined with traditional massage.
“The Biggest Loser” Resort Celebrates Celebrity Weeks
Are you a fan of The Biggest Loser? Want to lose weight with some of the show’s former contestants? Check out the new Celebrity Weeks program which launched March 22 and is running through June 28 at each of the “The Biggest Loser” Resort locations, which include Chicago, Illinois, Niagara, New York, and Amelia Island, Florida. “Celebrity Weeks is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans of “The Biggest Loser” show to meet the celebrity contestants that they cheer on each season and to start their own journey to a healthier lifestyle alongside them,” said Lesley Carey, president of “The Biggest Loser” Resort. “During Celebrity Weeks, you really never know who you’re going to work out next to; it can be a past season contestant, winner or even a celebrity trainer from the show. But guests will know that inspiration and motivation from the celebrity guests will empower them to reach and surpass their health and wellness goals while at the resorts.” A one-week package starts at $2,995 per person.
Hyatt Playa del Carmen and its Cenote Spa Opening June 1
On June 1 the new 6,000-square-foot Cenote Spa will be debuting at the Hyatt Playa del Carmen. Blending both Mayan treatments and techniques, the spa will truly be a sanctuary that is indicative of the destination. Inspired by the Riveria Maya’s iconic cenotes, which are believed to purify the soul, the Cenote Spa will feature eight treatment rooms, hot and cold plunges, fiber optic chromotherapy showers.
“Take Care of YourSelfie” Campaign on Celebrity Cruises
Through a partnership with Randi Zuckerberg, Celebrity Cruises has launched its year-long “Take Care of YourSelfie” campaign in order to help guests find a tech-life balance while they are away. As part of the campaign, new services and treatments are available at Canyon Ranch SpaClub locations including the “fACEial Time” nourishing facial, “InstaGlow” detoxifying ritual, and the “Texticure” a hand-softening manicure. “The digital revolution has changed and enriched every facet of our lives, and now more than ever, it is essential for us to find a healthy tech-life balance,” says Zuckerberg. “Celebrity Cruises is a leader in providing relaxing and restorative vacations, and by partnering with them, I hope to inspire moments of logging off and shutting down for a few hours or even a day. We want guests to explore ways to embrace a balance that complements their lifestyle onboard and at home.”
Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara’s New Boutique Driftwood Spa Opened
Drawing inspiration from its ocean-side location, the new Driftwood Spa features three treatment rooms, a nail salon, and state-of-the-art fitness center with an outdoor yoga and Pilates pavilion. Treatments include the Driftwood Escape Treatment with a ginger lime exfoliation and Himalayan salt stone massage and the DNA Repair Facial, which offers instant results for hyperpigmentation.
