Northern Michigan Spa Tour Benefits American Cancer Society
Is northern Michigan the next place to spa? A coalition of eight spa resorts in the area says yes.
Midwestern charm and hospitality is at its best this month as the Northern Michigan Spa Tour, a collaboration of spa resorts from Thompsonville and Traverse City to Mackinac Island and Bellaire and beyond, preps for its first unified event November 8-14. The newly formed alliance is designed to encourage health and well-being, and bring attention to the spa industry through education and philanthropy. Its first fundraising event will benefit the American Cancer Society.
A $10 donation from each 50-minute or longer spa treatment purchased at one of these spas will be contributed to the cancer society. Grand and additional prizes enhance this charitable weeklong event, as spa-goers have the chance to win an overnight stay and spa service from each of the eight resort spas on tour.
Northern Michigan Spa Tour participants include:
Crystal Spa at Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa
Elements Spa Salon at Great Wolf Lodge
Lilac Tree Spa at Lilac Tree Suites and Chippewa Hotel
Spa Grand Traverse at The Grand Traverse Resort & Spa
The Spa at Shanty Creek Resorts
The Spa at The Inn at Bay Harbor – A Renaissance Golf Resort
Treetops Spa at Treetops Resort
