Quick Review: Affordable Spa That’s Spectacular
I recently had the opportunity to experience the new, affordable Red Door spa brand, Simply Face and Body.
The verdict: Simply excellent! $49 a pop for a massage or a facial. Finally, someone has struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality.
My mother, being European, had a beauty regimen that always included a monthly facial. It wasn’t so much about pampering; it was a necessity as much as touching up the roots or putting on a lipstick. Traditionally, spa-ing was considered a luxury—not anymore.
I’m not sure what I was expecting when I was invited to Simply Face and Body, but to my surprise, every aspect, from the ambience, to the staff, to the products—and most importantly, the quality of treatments—felt just as luxurious as any other (more expensive) spa experience. So I enthusiastically cast my vote for spa democracy; treatments for all people, no guilt involved! I hope they open one on every corner, just like Starbucks.
