Kick Off Awards Season with VH1’s 16th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Awards season is almost here!  Kicking off the tradition of awarding the year’s most buzzed about films is VH1 with the 16^th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Friday, January 14th.  This week and next Hollywood’s top actors will be primping and prepping for red carpet appearances.  That means super facials to fortify against HD cameras and pedicures to prepare for open-toed Louboutins!

The awards will broadcast live at 9pm, giving us all the first look at what will commence a season of gowns, acceptance speeches, after-parties and excitement.  Tune in to see how many honors “Black Swan” (nominated for 12) will take, and who will set the expectations for Best Picture.  Last year all four Academy Award winners in the top acting honors categories (Best Actor/Actress and Best Supporting Actor/Actress) and Best Picture, first took home Critic’s Choice Movie Awards, setting the CCMAs as a great predictor for what may happen later in the awards season!
