Top 5 Essentials for a Spa Day
Heading to the spa this season? Take these top 5 essentials with you when you go!
From Thai massage to Stone Therapy to Swedish, I’ve tried it all. Opting for signature massage treatments that have to do with chakra balancing and sports as well. There’s an entire world of massage to discover.
What to Pack
Top on my list is a razor in case I missed a spot before the visit. A hairbrush is next as well as a hair tie so my hair doesn’t interfere with the massage therapist’s treatment.
Hydration is important so bring along your water bottle, the therapist will inform you that you need to drink plenty of water after a massage to aid in the release of toxins. It’s a good practice anyway you spin it. I opt for alkaline as I have a system at home but if I leave home without my bottle, eternal water is my go to.
Robes and a sandal will be provided during the visit at most spas, pack a swimsuit if you prefer to dress for the treatment. I also tend to pack a magazine to read while I’m waiting as I tend to try more than one treatment during a visit, even if it’s just a manicure paired with a massage. Nothing beats the benefits of ultimate relaxation and once you’re in the zone, I like to stay in that space.
